BWhale presented Druppify in Mexico: Mercado Libre, Walmart, Abastur and a logistics business round
ProChile-supported trade mission to Mexico City: the Chilean Embassy, Mercado Libre, a Walmart de México distribution center, the Abastur trade show and a business round with logistics companies, ahead of Druppify's launch in the country.
From August 25 to 27, 2026, with the support of ProChile, BWhale carried out a trade mission to Mexico City to present Druppify, its logistics orchestration platform, to operators and companies in Mexico’s logistics ecosystem. The mission, led by Nidia Véliz, Chief Growth Officer, is part of the preparation for Druppify’s upcoming launch in Mexico, planned before the end of 2026.
Chilean Embassy, Mercado Libre and Walmart de México
The first day included three key moments:
- Embassy of Chile in Mexico. The current state of Mexican logistics, its main challenges and the development opportunities for technology and innovation companies.
- Mercado Libre. A visit to part of its operation and an exploration of potential areas for technology integration and collaboration.
- Walmart de México. A visit to one of its distribution centers and a conversation about the challenges of running large-scale logistics networks, where speed, traceability, systems integration and operational visibility matter more every day.
Over the rest of the week the team kept visiting distribution centers and building new partnerships ahead of the operational arrival in Mexico.
Business round and the Abastur trade show
The mission also included a business round with logistics companies, held at Campus Wortev in the La Condesa neighborhood, and participation in Abastur, Mexico City’s hospitality and food-service industry trade show. Both allowed the team to connect with new players, understand their challenges and explore opportunities to integrate Druppify into their processes.
What Druppify brings to Mexico
Druppify OS is the logistics orchestration platform BWhale uses in Chile to coordinate workforce, fleet, orders, routes, SLAs and settlement in a single system: more than 8,000 druppers, more than 80,000 orders delivered per month and a 99.52% fill rate, operating with Walmart, Unimarc, Tottus, Jumbo and other leading retailers in the country. What was presented in Mexico is that same proposal — enabled operational capacity, AI-based shift assignment, real-time routes and SLAs, and automated operational close-out — with a 30-day commercial pilot as the entry model.
The mission coincided with BWhale’s participation in the Chile–Latam Business Meeting Bogotá 2026 and in HICOOL 2026 in China: three markets in a single week, with the same software, cloud and IoT capability the company integrates into its engineering projects.
BWhale thanks ProChile for creating these opportunities and supporting its internationalization process.
