From August 24 to 26, 2026, BWhale — the brand of Sistemas Tecnológicos Osystems SpA — took part in the Chile–Latam Business Meeting Bogotá 2026, organized by ProChile, as part of the delegation of companies from Chile’s Valparaíso Region. The event brought together 32 Chilean exporting companies and 61 buyers from nine Latin American markets: Colombia, Ecuador, Brazil, Paraguay, Panama, Guatemala, Costa Rica, El Salvador and the Dominican Republic.

According to ProChile’s figures, the meeting produced 250 effective business meetings and projects commercial opportunities of more than US$14.5 million, confirming the region’s interest in Chile’s offering in high-value-added industries.

More than 15 meetings at the matchmaking sessions

In the technology track of the event, BWhale presented its consulting, engineering and technology transformation capabilities, backed by more than 18 years developing and implementing solutions for agriculture, mining and logistics. During the matchmaking sessions it held more than 15 meetings with organizations from a range of sectors, including Grupo DiosMar, Conred, Biogeneración, Nutrición Especializada, Colombia’s Ministry of Public Security, Libertario Coffee, Laboratorio de Especialidades Cosméticos Esko, Cenit and Colsubsidio.

From those conversations the team identified opportunities mainly related to agriculture, the Internet of Things (IoT), monitoring, traceability, inventory control, security, data analytics and critical infrastructure protection — areas where the company already operates with its own solutions and hardware products manufactured in Chile.

“The business round was especially valuable because the conversations focused on real, concrete needs. That allowed us to identify opportunities in sectors where BWhale already has experience — particularly agriculture, IoT, logistics, monitoring and traceability — and to detect new spaces where our technological capabilities could create value.”

A pre-qualified agenda

Participating companies agreed that the value of the format lies in the agenda and the prior screening: meetings were held with companies that arrive with a defined problem and want to solve it. Beyond the matchmaking sessions, the event included sector-specific technical visits and one-to-one meetings between Chilean trade associations and their Colombian counterparts.

“We are very pleased to have participated in this Chile–Latam Business Meeting Bogotá 2026, because it allows us to showcase a high-quality offering in a very interesting and competitive market for our client companies.”

Ivo Sandoval, Regional Director, ProChile Valparaíso

Colombia, Druppify’s next market

The participation is part of BWhale’s expansion into Colombia, with the goal of launching Druppify operations in the country before the end of 2026. The meetings identified concrete opportunities to run pilots, build partnerships and integrate the company’s products and services into the Colombian market, and closed with new lines of collaboration and an agenda to keep moving forward.

Bogotá joins the Druppify trade mission to Mexico and the participation in HICOOL 2026 in China, both held the same week, and the operations BWhale maintains in Chile and the United States through BWHALE LLC.

“Their support has allowed us to reach markets, companies and opportunities that would be considerably harder to approach on our own. We especially value the guidance, the networking opportunities and ProChile’s ability to connect Chilean companies with relevant players in other countries.”
